The weather is worse than a woman about changing her mind. The other day it got up to 78* and then the next morn it was cold and still is. We do have plenty of sunshine but more rain is coming. My dad loves the rainfall cause he's already got potatoes eyes to plant in his garden. I should take a picture of his mustard crop. They really are nice and so good. All that mustard and what do I do but buy a bunch of collard greens to cook. They are really good, too.
I've gotten pretty well tied up in Facebook and found a "Smiley" game that's sort of like playing pool and it is just so addicting trying to beat my hightest score. I'm hoping it's good for hand/eye coordination. Gotta have at least one good excuse :)..........

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I just got a bouquet of tulips from my daughter, grand daughter and grandson. I'll put a pic of them up later. I had forgotten all about it actually being V.D. so it really surprised me again. She's good at that :)

March wind already

Well, I don't know what happened to the entry I was trying to make, but it posted before I got started good . As I was going to say, the March winds are here much too early but it is still warm enough every morning to have coffee/breakfast outside on my porch throne. It's not all that windy in the morn but gets that way as the day goes on.

I've been mopping, washing dishes and thinking about that dreaded vacuuming that I might as well go ahead and do. If I'm gonna get a protesting sciatic nerve, I may as well make it worth my time...or should I say pain.

Here's the morning after for Oscar&Meyers doing their morning stretches. That's Meyers yawning:) He really needed that spot in the middle......

We're having a bit of a heat wave~~~~~~ here in my little piece of S.E.Texas and it is supposed to be here for at least another four days or so :) Actually, winter isn't all that bad when you look at the big picture. For one thing, it's supposed to kill out all the pesky insects like fleas and ticks that my doggies don't need. I don't have to keep up with the weekly yard mowing and fighting the weeds or fighting the black "love" bugs. Then there's the free shock therapy! Yep, that's right, f r e e. Not sure if it has done any good but I've had my share of the treatments. Right now I've had so many that I'm afraid of touching even plastic objects (uh oh, my keyboard is plastic) :( I've been zapped by everything from my icebox door to a light switch. Really have to be careful when shopping not to touch any can goods, buggies or anything that looks like it might have metal behind a plastic looking finish. I've learned to take along a clothes softener sheet and use it to fetch items I need. Maybe I could just wear a cotten glove like Michael Jackson :)hehehehehe

Well, I've done nothing but hug this pc all morning expecting to find some kind of motivation to get "something" done. Can't seem to get going :(
I have been watching "The Doctors" on ABC at 3pm CST. It is such a great program and the doctors have such great personalities. If you haven't seen it yet, I would highly reccomend that you try it.
Now I've got to drag myself off here and do "something" :)
ps did I ever mention that I hate winter!!
