Staph infection

Just popping in to say hello. I've been keeping my phone line open since my oldest grandson had to go into the hospital with a bad staph infection on his right leg behind his knee. I just got word awhile ago from my daughter that the surgery was done and he was in a room. He will be able to leave the hospital Saturday evening if it's doing ok. Staph is nothing to fool around with so I plan to be careful as I can especially when going anywhere in public.
Now I'm going to try to catch up with reading :)............

Hi Alice, Well hope he will be feeling better REAL soon. Yes staph. is a scary thing.
I remember when I got septic poisoning after my last chemotherapy and was not made aware of this possibility and Chuckie nearly lost me. . I had about 10 minutes left. I had a small cut and that is how it probably got into my system..

Love and blessings,

Alberta Lori

Your Grandson will be in my prayers. Staph is a terrible thing and can cause some major problems. They say you cannot wash your hands often enough to keep germs away. An older lady I once knew got it by scratching her forehead with dirty fingernails. The infection went to her brain and caused some awful damage. 'OnYa'-ma

A man at our church was going to the doctor with a staff infection just today. Have not heard how he is doing. He just scrapped it on the ladder. Hmmm kind of makes a person wonder. Hope you had a great day. Blessings, Janie

So glad your grandson is going to be o.k. A friend of mine was in hospital for surgery and got staph infection while there. We almost lost her. So glad your grandson's staph was found in time.
