has been added to my springtime activities and my batting average is getting pretty darned good. Oscar&Meyers love watching all this and probably think it's a game. Oscar actually picked one up that landed on the cement but wasn't expired yet. He carried it out on the grass, went back and got another one and placed it right by the other one. Well heck, a game is a game! Anyway, these busy little bees are determined to make sawdust out of my house and I'm determined that they are not! Otherwise, it's back to regular daily living and taking care of me takes up a lot of time:)
My daughter and I did go to the baby shower for the new little girl who is due May 22. It was a cowgirl theme (seems like I know a cowgirl on here somewhere). Her name will be Ashlynn Fayth and the "Fay" in Fayth is in my honor. Thankfully she added the "th" cause I hate that name and omit it from all possible things. The picture at the top is the cowgirl cake:)
The next picture was taken of my grandson's date for the senior prom the week-end before last. My daughter/his mom made the hand corsage. She has only been allowed to date him for about six months but they have been friends for at least two years. Her parents are very protective and that is a very good thing to be. He has never dated anyone else that I'm aware of and she hasn't either. He begged to go in my car instead of his shiney little red Toyota. He said "But grannie, I'm gonna be wearing a tux and she's gonna be in a formal dress and I don't think her dress will fit in my car." I told him that I bet we could cram that dress in before I finally said OK. He spent over an hour washing and cleaning my car but the next day it was dirtier than ever after he got through running all over the place in it. He was runner up for prom king.LOL
